Probe into WA cop 'bikie gang' welcomed
AAP
An internal police investigation into the West Australian chapter of an international "bikie gang" for acting and retired cops has been welcomed by Premier Colin Barnett.
Gunfighters MC describes itself as a "non-profit fraternal organisation consisting of active and retired law enforcement officers who share a passion for riding motorcycles", but its members wear patches that resemble those of outlaw gangs.
According to the group's website, the West Coast chapter is the first in Australia and was established in January last year.

Mr Barnett said he was pleased WA Police Commissioner Karl O'Callaghan was taking a close look, saying the club was "unusual".
