Police hunt tap-and-go crooks in Perth

One of two men has been arrested in Perth after a recent crime spree in which the pair allegedly stole a car, mobile phones and bank debit cards and conducted a series of tap-and-go frauds.

A 25-year-old man has been charged with 29 offences so far, including stealing, fraud and disorderly behaviour and is likely to face 12 more charges, police say.

His co-offender is still on the run.

The two men allegedly broke into several cars and conducted tap-and-go frauds in various shops and liquor stores, including 13 transactions in one shop, over the few weeks.
