Perth ex-serviceman 'scared and emotional' after brutal home invasion

Powered by

A former Perth serviceman has been left battered and bruised after a brutal home invasion – the second time he has been attacked.

Christopher Holland arrived back to his Silver Sands home last night and was confronted by two men armed with his own golf clubs.

The thugs started swinging and Mr Holland collapsed, before the thieves ran off with a watch, a mobile phone, headphones and keys.

“They can be replaced, it’s your dignity that’s hard to get back,” the 57-year-old told 9NEWS.

“Cut face, sore teeth, cut down armed, large bruise on left hip, tender, lumps on head.”

Mr Holland fears the men may have been following him and waiting for him to leave.

“A little bit scared and emotional, it happened to me again more to the point. Not something you’d want to go through,” he said.

“It lowers yourself to a point where is it your fault, what did you do to deserve it?”

Police are searching for Mr Holland’s attackers.
