Overdue hunting trio found in remote WA

A 57-year-old man and two young boys who failed to return from a hunting trip in a remote part of Western Australia's East Kimberley region have been found safe and well.

The man and the boys, aged nine and 10, left Halls Creek on Monday morning and were due to return that night.

Concerns were held for their welfare as they had limited food and water supplies, but police said late on Wednesday night the trio had been found about 150km from the town and had been delayed by car problems.
