Manslaughter charge over fatal Perth crash

A truck driver accused of running a red light and crashing into a mother-of-three on a Perth highway, killing her, has had his charge upgraded to manslaughter.
Moira Dunstall, 55, died when her car was allegedly struck by David Lawrence West's prime mover, which was towing a trailer, on Tonkin Highway in Forrestdale on May 15.
West, 46, was initially charged with dangerous driving causing death, which was upgraded to manslaughter when he faced Armadale Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

He is due in court again on July 19.
