Man trapped under a ute in WA

A 37-year-old Perth man had his leg trapped under a utility after it rolled backwards down a hill and tipped on its side.

Police said a 25-year-old woman was trying to park the ute on the verge of a home in Gooseberry Hill on Saturday night when the accident happened.

The man who was a passenger had started to get out of the ute before it rolled down the hill.

He was taken to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment.
