Man shot and killed on WA farm

A man shot and killed while hunting on a Western Australian farm has been named as Ashley John Major.
Mr Major, 36, was shot on the farm in the abandoned townsite of Chandler, around 300km east of Perth, on Friday night.
Police say the man was part of a hunting group when he was shot.

The Major Crime squad is interviewing people in the group present at the time of the shooting.
It was the second shooting death in Western Australia on Friday night, after police shot a man at a Hamilton Hill home around 11pm.
Police were responding to a domestic violence incident at the home when they shot the man in the abdomen.
He died later in hospital.
