Man on video wanted in Perth murder

A man caught on security footage at a Perth bus stop is believed to be involved in a stabbing attack that killed a 43-year-old father of two children.

Ian Michael Bazbosch, also called Ian Bosch, died in hospital on Monday after being stabbed in the neck at a bus stop in Coolbellup at 7:30am on Saturday.

CCTV footage has been released of the 200cm tall Mr Bazbosch sitting down at the bus stop before the other man also approaches the stop.

Police do not know yet if the two men knew each other.

After being attacked, Mr Bazbosch stumbled to nearby Coolbellup shopping centre, where bystanders called an ambulance.

Police say the victim caught a bus from his home to Coolbellup shopping centre earlier on Saturday morning.

But it was unknown what he did for seven to eight minutes before going to another bus stop where he was attacked.

Detective Senior Sergeant Tom Mills said the victim worked as a landscaper and was not known to police.

He urged witnesses who may have seen the two-metre tall victim, who was wearing a green backpack at the time, to speak to police.

Nothing had been taken from Mr Bazbosch's backpack, which was recovered by police.
