Man charged over WA road rage assault

A 29-year-old man has been charged over a violent road rage attack in Perth's southeast.

Police said a 48-year-old man was driving a van on Roe Highway at 10.45am on October 20 when he exited onto the Kenwick Link off ramp and was approached by a truck driver.

It's alleged he opened the victim's door and punched him in the head several times before following him for a short time.

He has been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm and is scheduled to appear in Perth Magistrates Court on November 10.
