Man charged over blaze at West Perth unit

A man has been charged over a blaze that engulfed a West Perth unit, causing about $150,000 worth of damage.
Neighbours were evacuated as the fire tore through the Hay Street property about 11.30pm on July 12.
The 48-year-old man, of no fixed addressed, will appear in Perth's Magistrates Court later on Wednesday, charged with criminal damage by fire.
