Man dies following plane crash in Western Australian outback town
A 50-year-old man has died following a plane crash in the Western Australian town of Kununurra.
Police said the crash occurred as the pilot attempted to land the plane at East Kimberley Regional Airport.
The passenger became unresponsive while his evacuation from the scene was being organised.

The plane involved in the crash was a Beechcraft Baron 58, which was being used for commercial purposes. 9News
Despite the efforts of emergency personnel at the scene, he was unable to be revived and later died.
The pilot, a 29-year-old man, sustained serious injuries from the crash, including burns.
A Royal Flying Doctor Service plane landed in Kununurra and it is expected the man will be flown to Darwin for further treatment.
