Truck critically injures pedestrian in Fremantle
A man is tonight fighting for life in a Perth hospital after being struck by a truck in North Fremantle.
Just before 9am this morning authorities rushed to the Stirling Highway following reports a pedestrian had walked onto the road and collided with a truck.
The man sustained facial injuries and was seen walking after the crash, however he was later taken to Perth hospital in a critical condition.

The Stirling Highway was blocked in both directions for four hours, causing traffic chaos.
Zia Wakili, Director of the transport company who owns the truck, said it was a terrible accident.
The truck driver was cleared of a roadside breath test. 9News
"He slammed as hard as he could on the brakes but obviously the impact was there," Mr Wakili told 9News.
Police will now conduct an investigate into the incident. 9News
