Fifth man charged with WA prisoner murder

A fifth prisoner has been charged with murdering a fellow inmate in Western Australia.

Guards found Alf Deon Eades, 46, injured in his cell at Hakea Prison on February 26.

He was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital but died on March 11.

Police on Monday said they had charged a 23-year-old man with murder, having previously charged two 22-year-old men, a 21-year-old man and a 20-year-old man with the same offence.
