Driver fails breath test after cyclist hit

The driver of a ute accused of hitting a cyclist in Perth's south has failed a breath test, police say.
The 56-year-old cyclist is in a stable condition at Rockingham Hospital with back and rib pain after a collision in Kwinana Beach on Wednesday morning.
Police said a 32-year-old man would be charged by summons with having a blood alcohol level over 0.05 per cent.
