A father-of-two has died after his ute hit a tree north of Perth.

Jesse Murray, 30, was driving a silver Ford Falcon ute on Brand Highway in Ginginup about 7.55pm yesterday.

It veered off the road and into a tree, bursting into flames.

A driver has died in a crash in WA

Murray's family say he was just 20 minutes from home, driving back to his children and partner after working away. Nine
