Cyclist dies after crashing into Perth bus

A cyclist who died after crashing into the back of a stationary Perth bus is believed to have not been wearing a helmet, police say.

The 57-year-old man suffered serious head injuries after riding at speed into the back of the bus as it stopped to pick up and drop off passengers in Melville on Thursday afternoon.

He died shortly after arriving at Fiona Stanley Hospital.
