Canning vote options for FIFO workers
AAP
Fly-in, fly-out workers who are unable to vote at a polling place for the Canning by-election can now do so at some airport terminals.
The Australian Electoral Commission's Marie Neilson says workers or travellers who are flying out of a Perth airport terminal and won't be returning home to vote on September 19 can also go to early voting centres in the Canning electorate or any other AEC office.
"Otherwise you may apply for a postal vote, however, you should apply now as time is running out," Mr Neilson said.

The by-election was triggered by the death of sitting Liberal MP Don Randall, who suffered a suspected heart attack in July, aged 62.
