Boy knocked off bike for tipping bin

A 51-year-old man has been charged after he allegedly bumped a boy off his bike for knocking over a bin.

Police say the man had been chasing a group of children in his car after he saw them accidentally tip over his bin in Lockridge in Perth's northeast.

The boy sustained minor injuries while the man has been charged with reckless driving and is due to appear in the Midland Magistrates Court on March 22.
