A 10-year-old boy tried to rob a truck driver with a toy gun in Perth's eastern suburbs, police allege.
The 28-year-old year male driver was sitting in his truck after making a delivery at Midland shopping centre when the hood-wearing boy allegedly pointed the cap gun at him and made threats, before pulling the trigger and causing a loud bang.
The boy has been charged with attempted armed robbery and will appear before the Perth Children's Court on Thursday.
