Perth Good Samaritan robbed after stopping to give first aid
A Good Samaritan who stopped to help an ailing man on the side of the road was shocked to later find she had been robbed.
Latara Ogle was driving down Ennis Avenue in Perth yesterday when an elderly woman waving down traffic caught her attention.
The mother of three pulled off the busy road and was met with a medical emergency as the woman led her to an ill man who Ms Ogle quickly determined did not have a pulse.
Fully trained in CPR because of her daughter's medical condition, Ms Ogle was able to provide emergency help.
She asked a bystander to get a resuscitation mask from her car – but instead, she was robbed.

"The car was locked before that, the iPad was in it, and when I got home it was gone," she said.
She wants the device back as it holds photos of her children, along with her university work.
But thankfully, the man Ms Ogle helped save is tonight in a stable condition.
"I think materialistic things can be replaced, but people's lives, they can't," she said.
"There's no price on that."
