Victorians to shiver through sub-zero temperatures
Victorians are being warned to brace for temperatures to plunge below zero.
The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a frost warning for Friday morning.
"Frosts with temperatures down to -1 degrees are forecast in parts of the Mallee, Wimmera, Northern Country, North Central, North East, South West, Central, West and South Gippsland and East Gippsland forecast districts," the bureau said.
In East Gippsland the mercury is set to plunge as low as -5C overnight.

While in Mallee temperatures will fall to between -1C and -2C, reaching a top of 14C during the day.
This comes after the state's capital shivered through it's coldest day since 2019 last week.
Temperatures in Melbourne's CBD reached a top of 10C.
Tomorrow there's a chance of a morning shower and morning frost in the northwest suburbs of Melbourne.
