Victoria faces possible gastro outbreak
AAP
The very young, the very old and those with compromised immune systems are most at risk of a possible gastro outbreak in Victoria in the months ahead.
Food handlers, child care and health care workers in particular have been advised to practice stringent hygiene practices and, if they get sick, to stay away from work until 48 hours after symptoms have gone.
The Department of Health has requested they be notified of all gastroenteritis outbreaks where more than two cases are found.
