Victoria records 11 new COVID-19 cases as authorities slam protests
Victoria has recorded 11 new cases of locally-acquired COVID-19, all of whom were in quarantine for their entire infectious period.
In the past 24 hours to midnight, state health authorities also identified one new case of the virus in hotel quarantine in an overseas traveller.
More than 32,000 were tested and more than 17,000 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine were administered.
All of the 11 new cases are linked to current outbreaks.

COVID-19 Commander Jeroen Weimar said there were no new cases associated with the Phillip Island or City of Hume outbreaks.
He said that there were four new cases were associated with the Ms Frankie outbreak, three new cases were linked to Trinity Grammar School,.
One each is linked to Bacchus Marsh Grammar, the West Gate tunnel construction project, the Young & Jackson pub and the AAMI Park cluster.
Premier Daniel Andrews said the easing of restrictions would be determined by case numbers over the next few days.
"It is my hope that we can make announcements for the whole state," he said.

Currently, Victoria's lockdown is set to end on Tuesday, 27 July at 11.59pm.
Mr Andrews said protests yesterday were a risk to the entire state.
"I wish it hadn't happened," he said.
Mr Weimar said the demonstration could be a factor in lockdown easing.
"It's a curveball we didn't need at this point in time," he said.

"What's so frustrating is that when you've got 6 million Victorians in lockdown ... when you've got 30,000 people getting tested, you've got 20,000 people in isolation, 17,000 people getting vaccinated, a small minority having a self-indulgent tantrum is just a really frustrating thing."
Under current health orders, Victorians can only leave their home for five essential reasons and shopping and exercise is restricted to a five-kilometre radius around a person's home.
Face masks are mandatory at all indoor areas outside of a person's own home.
