Pedestrian killed after being struck by car in Melbourne
A pedestrian has died after being struck by a car in Melbourne last night.
The 52-year-old woman was struck on Mickleham Road in Westmeadows at 6.55pm.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene, where the woman was found dead.

The driver of the car, a 22-year-old man, has spoken to police. He was not injured.
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined.
Police are urging anyone with dashcam footage to contact Crime Stoppers as investigators try to piece together the events leading up to the collision.
