Man charged with estranged partner's murder after arrest at Melbourne Airport

Homicide police have arrested a man at Melbourne Airport as he allegedly attempted leave the country hours after his estranged partner's body was found beside a road.
Dandenong mum Eva Lasrini had been reported missing by her daughter after she failed to board a flight to Bali on Wednesday to visit her daughters.
The mother-of-two's body was found next to a rural road in Little River, south-west of Melbourne, yesterday afternoon.

Police arrested the 67-year-old at Melbourne Airport on Friday where they said he was trying to board an international flight.
Lasrini's family reported her missing on Thursday as they hadn't heard from her after she missed her flight and her phone had been switched off.
It's unclear when she was allegedly killed or where.
Keys fronted the Melbourne Magistrates Court last night.

The man from Patterson Lakes will remain in custody until his next appearance on August 10.
