Vic woman critical after ute fall

A woman is in a critical condition after falling from a moving ute in western Victoria.

According to police, the woman was in the back of a ute at 6.40pm (AEDT) on Friday as it was driving on a private property in Bulgana.

The woman, aged in her 60s, suffered life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to the Alfred Hospital in a critical condition.

The driver, a 45-year-old man, has been arrested and is assisting police.
