Vic man 'used gun to steal car'

Armed police have arrested a Melbourne man who allegedly used a gun to steal a car.

Police believe the 18-year-old Endeavour Hills man was the driver in an armed robbery in a different stolen car, which was later involved in a fatal crash.

Special operations group officers arrested the man on Thursday and he is due in the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Friday charged with armed robbery and assault-related offences.
