Vic man suffers burns in machinery fire

A man has suffered serious burns after machinery he was working on caught fire in country Victoria.

Ambulance Victoria says the man, aged in his 50s, was working in a shed near Chiltern on Thursday night.

He was airlifted to The Alfred hospital in a serious condition and is being treated for burns to his back, arms and legs.
