Vic man in hospital after stingray attack

A stingray barb has reportedly pierced a man's foot as he waded at a bay beach on Melbourne's Mornington Peninsula.
The man, aged in his 30s, was treated by paramedics at the Point King jetty in Portsea about 10am on Thursday for a foot injury, Ambulance Victoria said in a statement.
He was subsequently airlifted to The Alfred hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
