Vic man exposes self to child on city tram

The public are being asked to help identify a man accused of performing an indecent act in front of a child on a Melbourne tram.

A nine-year-old girl was on the tram in the afternoon on January 22 when a man exposed himself to her and performed a lewd act.

The child told her relative, who was sitting across from her. When the relative confronted the man, he fled the tram.

Police have released a composite drawing and CCTV footage of the man.
