Man charged over Vic cop car, bollard ram

A driver has been charged for allegedly ramming a police car before getting tangled in a blackberry bush in Melbourne.

The 24-year-old allegedly rammed the vehicle and nearby bollards after being woken by police in his car at Rowville on Wednesday morning, and subsequently got stuck in a blackberry bush while fleeing.

He has been bailed to appear in Ringwood Magistrates Court on January 15 charged with driving, drug and criminal damage offences.
