Vic man accidentally shoots himself

A Victorian man has narrowly escaped death after accidentally shooting himself.
The 51-year-old Beaufort man was taken to Ballarat hospital bleeding from his lower body on Monday about 9am.
Nobody else was injured in the incident, police say.
