Vic father in court over alleged incest

A Melbourne father has appeared in court charged with multiple counts of sexual abuse against his daughters.

The man appeared before the Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Friday via video link charged with 26 counts of sexual penetration and indecent acts with a child under 16.

The alleged abuse, which occurred between 2013 and April 2016, was uncovered during an interview between family members and Department of Human Services staff.
