Vic drink-driver nabbed with kids in tow

A Melbourne woman has narrowly avoided crashing into a tree while drink-driving at nearly four times the blood-alcohol limit with three children in the car.
The 31-year-old was spotted driving erratically, narrowly missing a tree, at Croydon Hills on Thursday night, police say.
She had two four-year-olds and a six-year-old in the car and recorded a blood-alcohol reading of 0.196.

The woman's driver's licence has been suspended and she is expected to be charged on summons with drink-driving offences.
