Vic car rego instalments considered

Victorians may finally get to pay their car registration in instalments rather than a $750 hit each year.

Premier Daniel Andrews says the "common sense" idea is being investigated, but there are technical complications in the VicRoads system.

"Motor rego is a big bill for every family. It's one of the biggest bills you pay every year ... (but) we do have to get this right. It's a little more complex than it seems," he said on Monday.
