Vic burglars' 10-tonne fail caught on film

The environment authority has been called in to clean up hundreds of litres of toxic oil after two criminals tried to steal a 10-tonne electrical transformer in Melbourne.

The toxic mess spilled onto Scotland Street after the transformer was damaged as it was dragged through a disused Braybrook factory, police said.

Two offenders, who left empty-handed from the April 26 attempted burglary, are still at large.
