Vic 100 days out from NDIS

Victoria is 100 days from launching its rollout of the national disability scheme.

The implantation of the NDIS is due to begin across the state on July 1.

The scheme will start in Melbourne's northeast, in the local government areas of Banyule, Darebin, Nillumbik, Whittlesea and Yarra.

The full scheme is expected to take three years to be rolled out, with full access to the NDIS by 2019.
