Two killed in Victorian crash

Two people have been killed in a collision between a car and a truck on a major highway in eastern Victoria.

Police say a man and woman in the car were killed on impact as the truck was trying to turn onto the Princes Highway near Bairnsdale about 11.30am on Saturday.

The truck driver was uninjured.
