Two arrested after Melbourne car chase

A man and woman have been arrested after a car chase in Melbourne.

Police say the pair tried to flee police in Footscray by speeding off, only to crash into another car a short distance away.

The 25-year-old man and 24-year-old woman then tried to run away, but were caught and arrested.
