Truck driver charged over fatal Vic crash

A truck driver has been charged with causing the death of a man who was struck while getting into his car in Melbourne's southeast.

It's alleged a tray truck being driven by a 31-year-old Pakenham man crashed into the victim and his stationary vehicle in Dandenong South on Friday evening.

The driver has been charged with dangerous driving cause death and bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
