Fire bans for Perth, southwest WA

A total fire ban has been declared for a wide area of Western Australia's southwest, including Perth.

The ban takes effect from midnight in parts of the Midwest Gascoyne, South West and Perth, Perth Hills and surrounding areas including Mandurah.

All fires in the open air, hot work such as metal work, grinding, welding, soldering or gas cutting without a permit and any other activity that may lead to a fire are prohibited.
