Man charged with manslaughter over death of man walking home in Melbourne CBD
A man has been charged with manslaughter after allegedly attacking a man as he walked home from work in Melbourne's CBD.
Andrew Truman, 44, died in hospital suffering significant head injuries after he was attacked while walking on Elizabeth Street from Flinders Street about 6.30pm on October 9.
Detectives arrested Todd Menegaldo, 33, at a boarding house in Moonee Ponds yesterday.

Police had been looking for Menegaldo, 33, of no fixed address, for the last three weeks in their investigation into Truman's death.
He has been charged with manslaughter and remanded to appear before Melbourne Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
Following his October 12 death in hospital, Truman - who lived with an intellectual disability and was a popular footballer - was remembered by loved ones as a "vibrant, independent, courageous man who was unafraid to be himself".

"He was a marvellous and fierce supporter of the LGBTQIAP+ community and a proud gay man," his brother told 9News after his death.
He was also a "passionate" Western Bulldogs supporter.
Wyndham All Abilities Football and Cricket Club, where he was a life member, said it was "a deeply sad day".
