Three-year-old boy found alone in Melbourne front yard reunited with family

A three-year-old boy has been reunited with his family after being found in a stranger’s front yard in Melbourne's west.

Residents on Marina Drive in Melton called police after finding the boy about 10pm yesterday.

He was unable to tell police his parents' names.

A doorknock was conducted in the area but police were unable to track down the boy’s family.

The boy’s mother has since come forward and police confirmed the reunion at 7.20am today.

Police thanked the public for their assistance.
