Three injured in Vic balcony collapse

Three people have been hospitalised after they plummeted four metres to the ground following a balcony collapse in Melbourne.

Emergency services were called to a Point Cook home before 4pm on Sunday and treated two men and a woman at the scene before taking them to hospital.

A man aged in his 60s was taken to Royal Melbourne Hospital with a cut to his head.

Two others, a man aged in his 40s, who hurt his knee, and a woman aged in her 20s with a shoulder injury, were taken to the Western Hospital.

All three are in a stable condition.
