Three teens arrested over Victorian death

Three teenagers are being interviewed by the Homicide Squad over the death of a man in regional Victoria.

A 43-year-old man was assaulted and abandoned on the side of the road at Shepparton on Friday night.

A woman who was not involved in the initial incident then hit the man with her car before stopping to help, but he died at the scene, police said.

Two males, aged 18 and 17, and a 17-year-old girl were arrested when the when the car the trio were in was stopped by police at Harrietville on Monday afternoon.
