* A Melbourne-born man who was raised as a Buddhist but converted to Islam and attended the controversial al-Furqan Islamic Centre

* Left Australia in 2013 to join the Islamic State in Syria

* Went by the jihadi name Abu Khaled al-Cambodi and appeared in IS propaganda videos

* His passport was reportedly cancelled in 2014

* Recruited wannabe-terrorists in Australia

* An arrest warrant was issued for his arrest in 2015

* Was in contact with Anzac Day terror plotter Sevdet Besim, who has been sentenced over his role in the planned attack which would have beheaded a police officer

* The US announced Prakash was killed in a drone strike in April

* Reportedly has handed himself in to Turkish police in November.
