Teen skateboarders wanted for Melb assault

Police are hunting four teen skateboarders over the assault of two security guards outside a licensed venue in Melbourne's CBD.

The four boys, believed aged between 16 and 20, became involved in an altercation with the two men in Little Bourke Street shortly before midnight on December 1, throwing a can, punching and kicking them and assaulting the pair with skateboards.

Officers have released CCTV of three people they want to speak to over the assaults, which left a 29-year-old Glenroy man in hospital with non-life threatening injuries and a 27-year-old Preston man with minor cuts.
