Suspended Vic minister asks for patience

A Victorian minister suspended over bullying allegations wants his upper house colleagues to "accommodate" the investigation into him.

The opposition has peppered him with questions for three days over the bullying allegations made by his chief-of-staff, but Small Business Minister Adem Somyurek has refused to answer them amid an investigation into the matter.

"This process is not about undermining or disrespecting or challenging this parliament - it's about the parliament perhaps accommodating this process so we can get a clear result of what's happened," he said on Thursday.
