Firefighters have contained a blaze at a factory owned by a building company in Melbourne's north.
Neighbouring factories in Thomastown were evacuated as a precaution after the fire in the unoccupied building was reported at 12.46pm on Tuesday, the Metropolitan Fire Brigade said.
Thirty firefighters were extinguishing remaining hotspots, an MFB spokesman said.
