Six thieves flee Vic break-in, ram cop car

Six men in balaclavas have fled the scene of a break-in and rammed a police car in country Victoria.

Police say four of the thieves escaped to a waiting vehicle which rammed a police car as they tried to get away after breaking into a Kyneton business at 2.40am on Monday.

Three men have been charged with theft and burglary and will appear in court at a later date, while a fourth has been arrested and taken to hospital after being bitten by a police dog.
